Ladybower Reservoir offers an abundance of accessible bank angling. Much of the bank side shelves steeply into deeper water so, whilst care must be taken when fishing, it's extremely popular and a successful method of catching trout. Ladybower is essentially an upland water and the fish are often quick and responsive to falls of terrestrial insects close to the bank as the well as the more common aquatic food items.
